We LOVE Cali!

Brooklyn and I had a wonderful trip to California last month. We flew down for one of my best friends weddings, which was beautiful. She looked amazing as usual and I absolutely loved her dress! Here is the the happy couple. Congrats Andy and Christa! (Thanks Lauren for taking the cute pics)

I am so glad we were able to be there for Christa's big day, and be with friends I don't get to see enough. Everything was so nice and Brooklyn enjoyed the sparkler send off.

After the wedding festivities, we were able to spend a whole week with my family. We had so much fun! We had a memorial day barbecue at the park and Brooklyn discovered she likes watermelon. She also had fun running around trying to catch a basket of balls, which she eventually caught.

We enjoyed a lot of COUSIN time! It was fun watching them interact and play with each other.

My sister Kamilah turned 18! I made her cake.

 We drove to Patterson for my cousin Alicia's Graduation. I didn't end up with any photos of her, but Congrats to Alicia and my sister Kamilah who graduated a week later. 

And we went to the ZOO!

It was a blast! I loved watching her face light up as she saw the animals. She is definitely an animal lover! She gets so excited and flaps her arms and kicks her feet, it is so funny. We LOVED spending time with my family and friends and we LOVED all of the sunshine. We were welcomed back home with lots and lots of rain, hopefully we will get some nice summer weather soon.
